Nova Scotia Courts Now in the Dataset

We've expanded the case law dataset to include five Nova Scotia courts, adding over 17,000 decisions covering appellate, trial, provincial, family, and small claims work.

What's New

  • Nova Scotia Court of Appeal (NSCA) — 4,712 decisions, 1993 to present
  • Nova Scotia Supreme Court (NSSC) — 9,098 decisions, 2001 to present
  • Nova Scotia Provincial Court (NSPC) — 1,591 decisions, 2001 to present
  • Nova Scotia Family Court (NSFC) — 323 decisions, 2001–2023
  • Nova Scotia Small Claims Court (NSSM) — 1,648 decisions, 2001 to present

All new data is available immediately through A2AJ's access methods:

- direct Parquet downloads.

Filter by dataset code (NSCA, NSSC, NSPC, NSFC, NSSM) to work with a specific court.
